On craftsmanship, innovation and practicality

Sadness could be seen in my eyes when my custom made watch got damaged earlier this month, while awaiting repairs I was fortunate to wear a Grand Seiko. Its unique mix of craftsmanship, innovation and practicality is worth sharing with you.

Neither do yellow creatures in the kid’s corner scare the watch

Sandy beaches and plastic watering cans pose no problem for the stainless steel case

Yet it blends in like a true chameleon - tuning down the fireworks and Samurais - ideal when you try to read a book

Sharp, bevelled hands indicate time with the sharpness of a Samurai’s Sword

The Zaratsu polishing reflects light like fireworks, surrounding the matte black dial which maintains a classy state of calm

The depth of the dial and its markers are hard to capture in a photo
