Drawing an iconic watch proofed to be both challening and fun. I love watches because they are small and yet full of details. Drawing it makes you really appreciate the level of detail the original watch has (like small things like the 'serif' on the fonts).

Initial outline with the icon Blue/Red pepsi bezel

First part of the metal Oyster Bracelet filled out

The shading and reflection of the metal is a challenge

The crown is even more challening because of its "edgy shape"

Adding the letters and indexes to the bezel

It starts to look like a watch - really was surprised by the realistic look of the bracelet

Instantly recognisable as a watch, yet if you look closely it's clearly a drawing

Drawing the hands was a challenge, but after adding some shade to the center axle it became convincing

Especially on the black dial the shadow and faux metal highlights really work
