Professional Experience

My work with technology started when I was a student and has grown into the companies I run today. Here's a look at the journey and the key experiences that have shaped my approach.

Lemmid B.V.: Information Technology Specialist

jan. 2013 - now

This is my primary company, which I founded in 2013. Through Lemmid, I partner with businesses to build their digital backbone: the websites, apps, and services they rely on every day.

dsd 164 B.V.: Mobile App Publisher

nov. 2011 - now

This is the official home for my own independent apps. It's the company behind Snake '97, which has been downloaded millions of times and hit #1 in charts across Europe. This success led to me working directly with the teams at Apple, Google, and Microsoft.

Willem & Laurentz Holding B.V.: Investor and CEO

jul. 2009 - now

This is the main holding company that sits above the others. As CEO, I manage the overall structure and strategy. It's also through this company that I invest in and help other entrepreneurs with their new technology ideas.

DigiDef: security consultant

sep. 2015 - jun. 2020

For five years, this was a specialised part of Lemmid focused on security. I helped companies analyse their systems, find weaknesses, and protect themselves from hacking attempts.

WMIT: Self employed IT specialist

jan. 2005 - dec. 2012

This is the company I started as a student. It was my first real business, and it grew to serve around 150 clients before its work was continued under the Lemmid B.V. name. It was the foundation for everything that came next.

Zarafa, Delft: Product developer

sep. 2005 - jan. 2006

Here, I dove deep into a large-scale open-source collaboration platform, learning how enterprise software is built and presented to customers at international tech fairs like CeBIT.

E-Commerce Parc, Curaçao: Network Operations Center Operator

aug. 2004 - jan. 2005

Working in a modern data center in Curaçao taught me about the physical infrastructure and high-stakes monitoring that powers the internet.

Ex Machina, Amsterdam: Product documentation writer

jun. 2004 - aug 2004

My first job in the industry, where I wrote technical documentation for a multiplayer gaming platform long before the App Store existed.
