Block 89 - Privacy Statement

Block 89 is a puzzle game made by Willem Middelkoop, published by dsd 164 B.V. in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

This privacy statement exists not because there is much to disclose, but because I believe you deserve to know exactly what happens when you play my game. The short answer: nothing.

What I collect

Nothing.

Block 89 does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. There are no accounts, no registration, no email addresses, no usernames, and no passwords. Your high scores and game progress are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

What I deliberately chose not to do

I made a number of conscious decisions during the development of Block 89:

GIF replay sharing

Block 89 can generate a GIF replay of your game. When you choose to share this replay, the sharing is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The GIF is created locally and shared through the standard share sheet. I am not involved in this process and do not receive a copy.

Children

Because Block 89 collects no data whatsoever, there are no special considerations for children's privacy. The game is safe for players of all ages.

App Store and Google Play

When you download Block 89, Apple or Google may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. This is outside my control and unrelated to the game itself.

Changes

If this statement ever needs to change, the updated version will be published here. Given that the game collects nothing, I do not anticipate this happening.
