Fixing the cargo bike after hunting for bears

Last week my son and I where looking for bears in the local park... a child's fantasy is priceless! Unfortunately, during some off road riding with our cargo bike, one of the cables got tangled up with a sturdy branch! Our wounded carbo bike was in need for a repair!

Oops... this is not right!

The bolt holding the gear cable pulled out of the bracket at the gear hub

The shifter cable underneath the cargo bike was pulled apart by a branch...

Pull the damaged cable out, all the way

Make sure you include + install all the end caps as they prevent moisture and dirt from entering the outer cable(s)

Install the new shifter cable starting from the handle bar
