Fixing the cargo bike after hunting for bears

Last week my son and I where looking for bears in the local park... a child's fantasy is priceless! Unfortunately, during some off road riding with our cargo bike, one of the cables got tangled up with a sturdy branch! Our wounded carbo bike was in need for a repair!

Properly tension the Nexus 7-speed gear hub by aligning the two yellow lines when you have selected the fourth gear

The Shimano Nexus 7-speed gear hub - the cable is fixed using a bolt, inside the red circle

If things work out well, the inner cable will come out of the outer cable at the rear hub

Cargo bikes and tandems require longer cables! If your local bike shop doesn't sell them, you can find them on Amazon

Oops... this is not right!

The endpoint has a fixed piece of metal on it - pulling it out can therefore only be done in one direction
